When will you be open?

Fusion Alley is opening August 24, 2019!  We anticipate an October opening for our companion restaurant, PrimeTime Grille, along with our party rooms and game room.

How can I join a bowling league?

Ottawa has a rich history of bowling leagues, and we plan to bring back the fellowship.  We will create multiple leagues, including mixed (co-ed), senior, youth, and more.  There will be something for everyone!

How many lanes will you have?

Fusion Alley will have twelve bowling lanes.  These will feature state-of-the-art bowling technology, with advanced pinsetters, automated scoring, and sophisticated software allowing for online lane reservations, performance analysis, and integration with our companion restaurant for easy ordering of food and drink.

Do you have a room available for parties and special events?

Yes, we will have several party rooms that can be reserved for birthday parties, corporate events, and other special occasions.  

How can I make reservations for an upcoming party/event?

We will begin accepting reservations for birthday parties and other special events upon opening.  Check back for more information and to reserve your spot!

Who are the owners?

All owners are local professionals who are motivated to elevate Ottawa and the surrounding area by providing an entertainment and dining establishment from which our community can benefit.  The primary owners are Ken & Shelly Frank. Additional owners are Bob & Pat Hayden, Betty Birzer, Rod & Jo McCalla, Deb Henningsen, Phil & Claudia Gibson, and Jim & Linda Lewis.


Where will this be located?

Fusion Alley and its companion restaurant, PrimeTime Grille, will be located at 2204 S. Princeton Circle Drive in Ottawa (the previous location of DIY Supply).

Is PrimeTime Grille located inside Fusion Alley?

Fusion Alley and PrimeTime Grille are owned jointly by the same investment group.  They will have individual entrances and will be separated internally, but there will be inside access between the two.

Are you hiring?

We have currently filled all of our available positions.  PrimeTime Grille will begin the hiring process as the restaurant nears completion.

Is Fusion Alley associated with Ottawa University?

Fusion Alley is not owned by Ottawa University, but we are creating a very close working relationship.  We will be the home of the OU bowling teams.  We also plan to host Ottawa University coaches' shows in PrimeTime Grille, offer bowling classes through the university, provide entertainment opportunities for students and alumni, and generally function to bring OU and our community together.  In addition, we hope to develop similar relationships with other area educational establishments.

What are your hours?

We anticipate our hours being as follows:

Monday: 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Tuesday: 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Wednesday: 11:00 am - 11:00 pm

Thursday: 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Friday: 1:00 pm - 12:00 am

Saturday: 10:00 am - 12:00 am

Sunday: 10:00 am - 11:00 pm

Can I reserve lanes online?

Yes!  Fusion Alley will utilize advanced software that will allow you to reserve lanes ahead of time from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.  We will also accept phone reservations, and of course walk-ins are welcome as well!


Will there be a pro shop?

We will have a fully-functional pro shop available for all of your bowling supply needs.  

Will you serve alcohol?

In Fusion Alley, we will serve alcohol, along with all other food and drink options available at PrimeTime Grille.  Our full-service bar will have beer, wine, and spirits.  It will remain open to accommodate late night bowling, providing drinks and a limited food menu after PrimeTime Grille is closed.  Most importantly, Fusion Alley is a family-oriented establishment and will always expect our patrons to practice safe and responsible drinking habits.  Excessive alcohol consumption and/or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.  In accordance with Kansas law, we will never serve alcohol to anyone under 21.  Smoking will never be permitted in Fusion Alley or PrimeTime Grille.

Will there be an arcade?

Yes, we plan to have a small game room to supplement our entertainment options.  

Will food be available for purchase while bowling?

During restaurant hours, all food and drink options available at PrimeTime Grille will also be available for bowlers.  We will also have a snack bar available for our bowlers' convenience.

Is this really happening?!?

We know there have been years of speculation about bringing bowling back to Ottawa.  We understand there may be skepticism, but we assure you that this is the real deal!  We are beyond excited to bring this venue to Ottawa!  Please do your part to support us and help us be successful, so we can continue to serve Ottawa and the surrounding area for generations to come.  See you in August!
